He was living with his mother after separeting with his father, his mother sent him back to his father who was not also willing to stay with him. He decided to go and stay on the streets. He dropped out of school in P5 in 2013, at the time of encounter with Tine on the mountain in march 2017, Sandy was in charge of an abandoned desolate room in which he and 17 other street children where staying. Each of the children was paying him money in order to use the room for shelter. he was involved in street pick-pocketing, robberies of phones and hand bags for survial. He was also addicted to drugs; using kerosene and marijuana.
